This display is an ultra-thin flexible electronic ink panel with grayscale and a futuristic look. It is the ideal product for curved labels and wearable displays, such as smartwatches.

The 2.13″ display offers excellent readability, superb viewing angles, and extremely low power consumption. Additionally, the image remains on the screen even when it is powered off.

It is recommended to mount this flexible eInk display onto a solid curved surface to maintain a stable shape, because although the display is flexible, continuous shape changes will inevitably reduce its lifespan. This display can be mounted on many different objects, such as bracelets, containers, jars, and much more. It is also recommended to handle the end of the display with care, as this part is somewhat delicate due to the 24-pin flat cable located there.

The Adafruit eInk Breakout Friend, along with other useful features, supports partial updates and acts as an interface between the microcontroller and this eInk display. However, you can use this breakout or any other type of hardware as an interface between the microcontroller and the eInk display.
