Information Notice pursuant to Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”)

Regulation (EU) 2016/679 protects natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data.

Sole proprietorship Saddi Nadia, as Data Controller, provides the following information regarding the collection and use of personal data through this website.

1) Categories of data processed

When registering on the website and during online purchases, we collect and process the following personal data: first and last name, shipping and billing address details, email address, telephone number, and payment-related information.
We do not collect or process special categories of personal data as referred to in Article 9 GDPR (e.g., health data, political opinions, religious beliefs, etc.). According to the GDPR, “personal data” means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.

2) Source of personal data

Personal data are provided directly by the data subject at the time of registration on the website and/or purchase of products.

3) Data Controller

Data Protection Officer (DPO)

The Controller has not appointed a Data Protection Officer, as the conditions set forth in Article 37 GDPR do not apply.

4) Purposes of data processing and legal basis

Personal data collected through the website are processed for the following purposes:

  1. Order fulfillment and delivery management – legal basis: performance of the contract. The order number only will be communicated to the company Computertribe, appointed for collection, exclusively for product delivery. The delivery receipt will be returned to PiLover within 3 days by Computertribe.
  2. Tax compliance – legal basis: legal obligation.
  3. Newsletter and marketing communications (optional) – legal basis: explicit consent. Data will be used to provide updates on activities, promotions, and products on sale.

5) Data recipients:

Personal data may be communicated to:

  1. Data processors and couriers appointed by PiLover for purposes strictly related to site management, order fulfillment, product delivery/shipping, and tax compliance.
  2. Third-party service providers:
    • Mailchimp (The Rocket Science Group LLC, USA): newsletter and marketing campaign management. Data transferred to the USA under EU Standard Contractual Clauses. (See Privacy policy)
    • Facebook: advertising campaigns via pixel for remarketing purposes. Data transfer outside the EU subject to Standard Contractual Clauses.
    • Google Analytics: rcollection of anonymized browsing data. Data transfer outside the EU subject to Standard Contractual Clauses.
  3. Other partners or consultants strictly within the purposes of the processing.

Data will not be publicly disclosed and will only be processed for the purposes indicated above.

6) Data transfers abroad

Data collected directly by PiLover will not be transferred outside the EU/EEA. However, some information may be collected and processed by third-party services (e.g., Google, Facebook, Mailchimp) located outside the European Economic Area, in accordance with their policies and for the purposes stated in this Privacy Notice.

7) Data retention period

Personal data will be stored only for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which they are processed, in accordance with the principle of storage limitation (Article 5 GDPR), or as otherwise required by law.

Periodic checks are carried out to ensure that data are not retained longer than necessary.

8) Rights of the data subject

The data subject may exercise their rights under the GDPR at any time by contacting the Controller at support@pilover.com. These rights include:

  1. Access to personal data;
  2. Rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data;
  3. Erasure of data (“right to be forgotten”);
  4. Restriction of processing;
  5. Objection to processing for legitimate reasons or for direct marketing purposes;
  6. Data portability;
  7. Withdrawal of consent at any time (without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before withdrawal).

The data subject also has the right to lodge a complaint with the competent Supervisory Authority.

9) Mandatory or optional nature of data provision

The provision of certain personal data is mandatory for registration, online purchase, billing, and shipping management.
Failure to provide such mandatory data makes it impossible to complete registration or place an order.

Other data, such as those provided for newsletters, marketing, or optional information, are voluntary.

If erasure is requested, PiLover will delete all optional and non-essential data not required for tax or contractual obligations. Mandatory data required by law (e.g., billing and shipping details) will be retained for the periods set out in applicable regulations.

10) Consent requirement

Consent to personal data processing is optional for marketing, newsletters, and profiling purposes. However, consent to process data necessary for registration and online purchases is mandatory in order to complete registration and the related order.

11) Data processing methods

Personal data will be processed in compliance with the GDPR and the confidentiality obligations that govern the Controller’s activity.
Processing is carried out using:

  1. Electronic tools, with secure systems to protect against unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure;
  2. Paper or other suitable media, with appropriate organizational measures.

The Controller adopts all necessary technical and organizational measures to ensure the security of personal data.

PiLover.com embeds YouTube videos on some pages via the youtube-nocookie.com domain, which minimizes user tracking and does not use cookies for advertising or profiling. Read more.

PayPal

During checkout, PayPal may set its own cookies, independent of PiLover. For more details, please refer to PayPal’s privacy policy.

Social Buttons

The social sharing buttons on PiLover do not set cookies. When the user clicks a sharing button (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or Pinterest) and accesses the social network’s page, that platform will request the user’s consent regarding its own cookies.
