Raspberry Pi Touch Display 2 is a 7″ touchscreen display designed for use with Raspberry Pi boards. The display has a resolution of 720×1280, making it ideal for interactive projects such as entertainment systems, home automation, and information dashboards – or simply as a compact monitor for your Raspberry Pi OS desktop.

Since Raspberry Pi OS provides touchscreen drivers with support for five-finger capacitive touch and an on-screen keyboard, you can use the display without needing to connect a physical keyboard or mouse.

To connect the Touch Display 2 to your Raspberry Pi board, you only need: power via GPIO and a ribbon cable that connects to the DSI port on all Raspberry Pi models (except the Raspberry Pi Zero line and Raspberry Pi 400, Raspberry Pi 500). The Raspberry Pi supplies power to the display, so no separate power supply is required.

Attention: Cases and mounts designed for the original 7″ Raspberry Pi touchscreen display are not compatible with the new Touch Display 2, as the new display is slightly smaller and has a slightly different glass positioning.
