This 13.56MHz silicone RFID/NFC wristband features a tiny RFID chip and an antenna. It can be passively powered by a reader/writer from a distance of one inch and can be used for a variety of purposes.

Almost all 13.56MHz RFID/NFC readers can read this type of chip; the only requirement is that the readers are capable of handling ISO/IEC 14443 Type A cards and not other encryption standards, such as FeliCa.

Not only can these RFID chips be written to, but they can also be rewritten over 100,000 times. Furthermore, their memory capacity is up to 1 KB of writable data in EEPROM memory, divided into blocks.

The RFID chip has a built-in permanent 4-byte ID that cannot be changed. This allows you to easily distinguish one tag from another.

This RFID/NFC wristband uses a traditional ISO/IEC 14443 Type A chip. In 2014, the NFC Forum decided to discontinue support for this classic chip. Consequently, newer-generation mobile phones and tablets no longer support it either. However, this is irrelevant unless you wish to use this wristband with a mobile phone and/or a tablet.
