Raspberry Pi Bumper: Protect Your Raspberry Pi 5

The Raspberry Pi Bumper is a snap-on silicone base. It was designed to protect the underside and edges of a Raspberry Pi 5 board, while still allowing easy access to the MicroSD card, power button and mounting holes.

This bumper is ideal for anyone prototyping electronic projects with the Raspberry Pi 5 while maintaining full access to the board and GPIO pins. While you’re working, the bumper keeps the base stable on your workbench and protects it from any short circuits. should your workspace become cluttered with wires, pieces of tin, cut-off component parts and other items that could cause problems.

Since the bumper also provides access to the Raspberry Pi 5 mounting holes, you can easily use HATs and other accessories that require spacers or similar mounting hardware.
