This RPi case is made from high quality moulded plastic and is really lightweight. It consists of 5 pieces with a modular conception. All the pieces easily snap together so you do not need any tooling or screws. The modular design of this case allows the sides and top to be removed, granting this way, an easy and quick access to internal GPIO connections and interfaces.

Two Part Case Body
This Raspberry Pi 3 B case presents a main body that consists of a top half and a bottom half. These two halves snap easily together and grant a protective covering either for the Raspberry Pi and for other delicate electronic components. The RPI 3B enclosure presents cut outs for Ethernet ports, micro-SD and USB. Status LEDs are visible through the case thanks to light tunnels or openings on the sides. You may note that there are pegs incorporated into the base of the case. Their design allows them an accurate alignment as they fit the holes on the Raspberry Pi board. On the top of the RPi case there is a large cut-out that grants room for accessory cables. The base of the case will be firmly secured to a surface thanks to the anti-slip stick provided on feet.

Design flexibility of this Raspberry Pi case grants an easy access to several internal connections, as for example GPIO pins, because either the sides and the lid can be easily removed. Both sides, moreover, present cut-outs that are very handy for all the main connector ports. The internal components are protected by the lid, whose elegant and slick design adds an attractive look to the case. Note that this official Raspberry Pi case can be used also without the lid if you need more ventilation. A lidless case grants also more space if you want to use HAT (Hardware Attached on Top) boards.
