Joystick: an excellent controller for video games

This joystick with a black ball-shaped grip is the ideal controller for your arcade games. Thanks to its handy 5-pin connector, all you need to do to connect it is plug in a single cable.

You can use this joystick in the new Picade, as it is reliable, sturdy and responsive. It feels a little looser than the Zippyy joystick, a bit like a Japanese joystick. If you use it together with some arcade buttons, a Raspberry Pi board and a Picade X HAT, you’ll have everything you need to build your own retro-style arcade cabinet.

You should also get one of the new Picade Wiring Looms; these feature a handy 5-pin connector to Dupont cable, for use with this joystick.
