Control and monitor your projects with this new, fantastic and versatile Raspberry Pi HAT!

This new home monitoring and automation controller has plenty of amazing features. Its relays, powered outputs, analog channels and buffered inputs (all of them 24V tolerant) allow you to simultaneously hook up a great set of interesting elements to your Raspberry Pi board.

An indicator LEDs for each channel allows you to check the situation with your set up at a glance. Analog channels, too, have dimming LEDs so that you can check the currently sensing value of all of them.

The Automation HAT is the perfect product for smart home and automation projects. It can, for example, monitor the greenhouse intelligent sprinklers, schedule the fish feeding, and several other activities.

Software
You can easily consult the Python library to exploit Automation HAT’s multiple functions, with examples that help you get started.
Input, output and relay examples illustrate how simple it is to control the relays, read the digital and analog inputs, switch the outputs on and off.
This software does not support Raspbian Wheezy.

NOTES
The use of brass M2.5 standoffs is recommended with Automation HAT in order to avoid the contact between pins and the HDMI port if or when the HAT is pressed down.

It is advisable to switch loads for the buffered outputs on the ground side, that is 12/24V (from supply) -> load -> output terminal -> ground (from supply)

Each relay can tolerate up to 2A. It is advisable to switch them on the high side.

A Maximum 500mA total can be sunk across the 3 sinking outputs, so when using a single channel the whole 500mA can be sunk across it.

ADC accuracy is ±2%.
