Raspberry Pi Standard Camera Module v2.1
The Raspberry Pi Camera Module v2.1 is a custom-designed add-on board featuring the high-quality 8-megapixel Sony IMX219 image sensor. This high-quality component has been specifically designed for use with the Raspberry Pi and features a fixed-focus lens (which can be manually adjusted thanks to a plastic mount).
Standard Camera Module v2.1 captures still images up to 3280 × 2464 pixels and supports video at 1080p30, 720p60, and 640×480p90.
Note: You can easily adjust the camera lens with this tool: Raspberry Pi Camera Focus Adjustment Tool (sold separately).
It can be connected to the RPi board using a flat cable attached to the CSI port, which is designed exclusively for interfacing with camera modules.
