Heat-Sink Thermal Tape – 8×8 cm (3M 8810)

This product consists of an 8x8cm sheet of heat-conductive adhesive tape, which will provide a permanent solution to the problem of keeping your heat sink or other cooling device securely and firmly attached to your integrated circuit.

Thermal adhesive tape is definitely preferable to other types of thermal adhesives because it causes fewer bonding issues; only manual pressure is required to ensure adhesion; and it performs better, partly due to its uniform thickness across the entire surface.

It is the ideal product for a wide variety of small or large heat sinks, whether made of aluminium or copper.

It is sold as a square sheet measuring 8x8cm and 0.25mm thick, but can be cut to any shape or size you require.

Once you have applied it to your heat sink, when you are ready to stick it onto your IC, simply remove the protective film from the adhesive and fix it onto the IC.
