ADS1015 +/-24V ADC Breakout: analogue-to-digital converter
The ADS1015 analogue-to-digital converter (ADC) breakout features three channels: at a sampling rate of up to 3.3 kHz, they can measure voltages in the range from -24V to +24V, with a resolution of 12 bits.
This breakout is compatible with Raspberry Pi and Arduino. It is ideal for quickly measuring DC voltages across a considerably wide range; you’ll also appreciate its accuracy.
This breakout is also compatible with the Breakout Garden HAT (I2C) and Garden pHAT (I2C). Simply slot it into one of the slots on the Breakout Garden.

The ADS1015 ADC breakout kit includes:
- ADS1015 ADC Breakout
- Two 1×5 male headers
- Two 1×5 right-angled female headers
The design of this breakout board allows you to easily solder a right-angled female header (included) onto it and then plug it directly into the five left-hand pins at the bottom (pins 1, 3, 5, 7, 9) of your Raspberry Pi’s GPIO header.
Software
Thanks to this Python library, you can read data from the ADS1015 ADC breakout board, while a handy command-line tool will install everything very easily.
This software DOES NOT support Raspbian Wheezy.
